- This group of four
painted tin articles consists of an elongated octagonal tray,
a bottle form tea container, a hogscraper form shaker, and a
canister shaker.
- All of the items
are paint decorated with red, green, and yellow floral designs.
- Bottom of tea canister
is signed with four names and Otsego County, Plainfield, New
York which is very near the well-known toleware painters the
North family from Fly Creek, New York, most likely part of that
group of 19th c. painters.
