Painted Tin

This group of four painted tin articles consists of an elongated octagonal tray, a bottle form tea container, a hogscraper form shaker, and a canister shaker.
All of the items are paint decorated with red, green, and yellow floral designs.
Bottom of tea canister is signed with four names and Otsego County, Plainfield, New York which is very near the well-known toleware painters the North family from Fly Creek, New York, most likely part of that group of 19th c. painters.
