Early 19th century school girl reward of merit given by the teacher for perfect attendance or accomplishment.
This is done in watercolor on paper showing mixed fruit and vegetables.
Given to Mary E. Slate by Helen Augusta Chandler.
The watercolor is signed Mary E. Slate in three places on the front side.
This is a great small size, in perfect condition, in a very early frame which may be original.
Measures: 5 ¼"x 4 ½" framed.
