- This bowl has paint
decoration on the outside and also on the inside.
- Bowls such as this
one that have been painted on the interior have what is known
as put to rest paint, most likely a Mother's bowl or Grand Mother's
bowl, which when they passed on would be painted on the inside
and put away never to be used again.
